On October 25, 2007, PNWAADP, the Foundation, Alpha Delta Phi International, and a standing-room-only crowd at the Seattle Yacht Club unanimously resolved to resume undergraduate operations at the Washington Chapter in September 2008.
Launching and sustaining the active chapter has been a massive undertaking that has required considerable alumni support. Thankfully, since October 2007, literally hundreds of alumni have contributed to the cause, and many others have asked how they can help. If you would like to help with the effort, PNWAADP and the Foundation would welcome your assistance. Although there are many different ways in which you can help, the alternatives typically fall into three fundamental categories: Give Money, Give Time, Give Names.
PNWAADP and the Foundation are endeavoring to raise $1,000,000 over a four-year period. Your donations will help PNWAADP to fund rush, make various improvements to the chapter house, and undertake other mission-critical tasks. Your donations will also help the Foundation to offer the most generous scholarship program in the Greek system at the University of Washington.
If you would like to donate money to the campaign, PNWAADP’s donor form details a number of donor options. You may either donate online or mail your donation to: PNWAADP; P.O. Box 786; Bellevue, WA 98009.
PNWAADP will maintain a list of Foundation Donors and Star & Crescent Donors on the website, and will periodically post information about the status of the fundraising effort. Please also visit the blog for current information about the fundraising effort.
There are many different ways in which you can give time toward the campaign. For instance, you can attend rush events, attend alumni events, host rush events, draft articles for the website or newsletters, serve as a class captain, participate in work parties at the chapter house, help formulate the pledge program, help with initiation week, serve as a mentor to pledges and new members, serve on the Chapter Advisory Board, and/or provide information or photos for the website and/or the pledge program.
If you would like to give time toward the campaign, please contact us. Please also check the calendar for upcoming events, and visit the blog to find out specific, time-sensitive ways in which you can give time toward the campaign.
The Washington Chapter pledges two classes each year, and is therefore continuously recruiting outstanding young men. If you know any young men whom you believe are "Alpha Delt material," please complete our information form and state whether the candidate is a legacy. We will contact the candidate as soon as possible, we will adhere to Alpha Delta Phi International's Legacy Guidelines, and we will update you about the candidate's status in the recruitment process.
If you would like more information about the campaign or how you can help with the campaign, please read our prospectus or contact us.
