Quick Bio: Juan was born in Colombia and at a young age moved to Ecuador until the age of 11 when his family relocated to the United States. An extremely motivated young man, Juan’s leadership skills and commitment to education drive his goal of one day returning to Colombia to improve its various situations of hardship. Recently, he has spent time in New Orleans doing relief work, helping coach a girl’s soccer team at Interlake, and studying toward fluency in French, his third language. In his spare time, you’ll find Juan playing soccer in the top division at the IMA and for the Seattle Revolution in the Greater Seattle Soccer League.
